George W. Bush’s Final State of the Union Address
Well, this is the final SotU address that George W. Bush will give. I didn’t really find anything that was just “oh, that is so awesome!” I was personally hoping that he would set into motion an “energy moonshot” to decrease our reliance on foreign oil, but I did like the idea of pursuing nuclear power and budgeting more money into scientific research. I was also glad to see him stand up and say that the surge has worked in Iraq…much to the chagrin of the leftist moonbats. Oh well, they’re still pissed at the electoral system…even 8 years later!

I did not get a chance to watch or listen to the speech until it was almost over. I’ve never been able to watch them in the past anyway. I did listen to the beginning of the Democratic response, but that bored me to tears so I couldn’t listen to the whole thing. I’m not happy with everything Bush has done during his tenure, but I’m sure it was better than anyone else who had the potential to be in his position.
